Event Description
Mine Entra 2019 will be a content driven show with a number of concurrent knowledge exchange and networking sessions taking place on the sidelines of the show. These are:
17 JULY– Women in Mining Breakfast
A new addition to the Mine Entra event diary, this forum seeks to highlight key successes achieved so far in empowering women in the mining sector while simultaneously celebrating the women who are contributing positively towards a more productive and innovative mining industry.
17 JULY – Young Professionals Forum
The second edition of the Mine Entra Young Professionals Forum will take place on the first day of the show. Its aim is to provide the young professionals of the minerals industry with an opportunity to share their experiences and ideas, forge ties with peers and provide exposure necessary for career advancement. Our hope is that it will contribute to the preparation of today’s young professionals for the leadership role they will soon have to assume to address the current and future challenges in the minerals industry.
18 JULY – Mine Entra Conference
The Mine Entra Conference is an annual mining forum that brings together miners, policy makers, as well as equipment and service providers to the mining industry to exchange knowledge and come up with innovative ways to foster growth in the mining sector and other related industries. The event will seek to unearth the potential, opportunities and growth prospects throughout the mining value chain and its related sectors.
19 JULY – Small-scale Miners Conference
Organised in conjunction with the Zimbabwe Miners Federation this event is a targeted platform for small scale miners to engage with their policy makers, suppliers and service providers to discuss specific challenges and opportunities within their sector.
